As korea moves into transition from traditional to modern, many strive to keep the traditions, many strive to change and not be left behind. The introduction of weponry and clothing. Inside the palace, where everything is still traditional, the Newly elected queen faces numerous attempts of assassination because of her intrests in international affairs.
A poor warrior finds himself meeting the queen unexpectly, as they ventured out together to the sea, they find themselves starting to grow in affection, however she was taken to the palace, the warrior tries to become a palace guard, by risking his own life. As he finally seens the queen again, she is always in a life threatening situation. He himself takes on armies of soilders for her and in the end.
That took me longer to write and i don't think it was really that good, but it gives u an idea. The movie is pretty good, althought i can understand why some people would find it boring, the fighting scenes are pretty good, and the story line was a struggle to follow but yeah, check it out if you got time! x]
