Buddha Birthday Festival 2011 Southbank

Every year i go and do volunteering work at the buddha birthday festival hosted by southbank! Today i did friday shift for the first time as i do not have time to go over the weekend. Good news is i had a lot of fun today and met some very fun people, bad news is, the people expecting to see me over the weekend might struggle to find me! So i know they might not read this but sorry sorry T.T unable to see you guys around, it has been nice seeing friends come by and say hello!

IU - Lee Ji Eun

So i still love Park Ji Yeon, but after watching Dream High, my new obession has moved on to IU, back when i was touring China, i didn't know who IU was, so about 3 months ago, but one day during my china tour, i turned on the music channel, and there IU was, singing her debut! I was like omg who is this person, where did she come from, and so the hunt began, typing IU into google would be really stupid, but thats what i did, couldn't find her anywhere. But then i finally found her, and after listening to her songs, her voice... the amount of talent for a young girl was amazing...

Her voice was stunning!!!

Struggle?

There comes a point in life, where everything becomes unpleasant.
You pack yourself with all this work, but then you know people work harder

When you have nothing to do, there's no one around any more.
And you ask yourself, was I always like this? Should there be change?


We'll never know the answer, because everyone eventually finds their solution

Campaign for Happiness

Not really a world wide event, but just a simple push towards happiness can never be wrong.

Research says happiness comes from 50% Genetics, 10% Circumstances and 40% on how you spend your day. So almost half of your happiness would come from how to decide to spend your day.

I often look at people and wonder, man those people worn't have a good time at a event. The reason and response I have gotten from myself and others all pointed to one thing.

"They attract unhappy times to themselves"

Basically saying that they make the environment unhappy for them.

So basically how become a more happy person.

Do up a check list, and make sure these 3 things are on it!

- Random Acts of Kindness

- Focus on the Positive

- Let go of grudges

Doesn't really need to be random.... it could be intentional acts of kindness too for example just letting someone thought in traffic wanting to change lanes, could be as simple as that, which make you a more happy person.

This one really speaks for it self, basically just stop being so negative...

They say, people would skip a Christmas family dinner just because of a simple argument............................that happened 10 years ago....

Trust me, there are expiry dates on grudges..... and as I always have loved this quote

"Holding a grudge is like someone living rent-free in your head"

Park Ji Yeon

After watching Lord of Study/God of Study/공부의 신 what ever you wanna call it, i have a new obession for Park Ji Yeon, who played one of the characters in the Drama. I have previously been follow her because shes from girl group T-ara, but after watching her in the drama, i really really like her! her acting is great, very cute and innocent!

It's also nice to see her in two sides, here we have a very promiscuous girl from the hot kpop group T-ara, and on the other side we have her playing a innocent student studying to get into a good university! wahhhh soo cool !!!
